Go Go Games supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in learning to quickly notice the intersections of multiple features of the objects in the world around them – a skill that is essential to learning and comes naturally to most children – but is known to be a common difficulty for those with ASD. Go Go Games provides the opportunity to build this critical ability while maneuvering trucks, trains, and spaceships through a trio of fantasy adventures. We hope to provide a foundation in a skill that has broad implications for improved life-long learning, while capturing the imaginations of the students with ASD that have inspired us all year long.
